I saw THIS on the VCA board. I was living in London during all this, but I was totally out of style - preferring to wear 40’s dresses all the time. (You could get them for a song at the time.) I was there ... just didn’t participate.

I wore bits and pieces of a lot of those styles while still an unfashion-conscious (read: dressed by my mother) kid, then threw them all over for patched jeans and embroidered gauze shirts 24/7...
