Not sure about era or brand

Feels like a silky satin, not sure if its authentic silk? Also not sure of the time frame of this piece. Any info is greatly appreciated! There was no tag or brand name available..

Pretty! I like that big black flower! Rayon or silk brocade are possibilities. Have you tried doing a thread-burn test? I know sometimes there are no threads to cut for such a test. If you have a steamer you can sometimes detect the odor of silk in steaming, it can smell like a wet animal.

The era on such an item is really tricky to ascertain because qipaos have a longish history and can be constructed similarly from one era to the next.
