I had THE best Pringle cardigan that I inherited from my mum, plain black superfine knit - it was almost opaque - lambswool with long sleeves + ribbed cuffs (meant to be folded back, v neckline and totally plain. I am now trying in vain to replace it as the washing machine ate it :(
Doesn't need to be designer or even lambswool, just a black v neck and quite tight fitting fine knit with button front. You'd think a black cardigan would be the easiest thing in the world to replace but apparently not.
UK10/US8 would probably do. Just thought it was worth an ask - Thank you!
