one of my faves is the Orpheum in Minneapolis...renovated in 1993...lots of lights, very cool...unfortunately this is a day time photo...

oh, here's a night time shot, by Chris Gregerson...

plus, we saw Elvis Costello perform live there, so i think it will be one of my all-time favorites FOREVER.

Oh, I love this! Gorgeous. We don't have anything like it over here. The best we got is one of my all-time favorite cinemas though. Unassuming from the outside, but inside it's all 1950s plush-ness at it's best. It used to be a theatre, and they just put a screen in where the stage is, and probably the seats are new, but all the decor just screams 50s.
