This is something else I brought home from the thrift to sell for them. I assume they are shoe buckles and that’s about all I can say! Anybody? Jonathan?

chi...urved buckles certainly are more usually shoes buckles and on my screen look like marcasite, but are probably paste? they look silvery on my screen...very long john silver....

I had some of these a few years ago and did a bunch of research on them.
They look like marcasite but are Steel Cut
Search on ebay for Steel Cut buckles and you'll see more
Some do quite well
On the back many are marked France or Paris
