Ok here are two more. The Red one is rayon VERY WELL MADE but no label .... the stitching is lighter than the rest but I think it is original and was done as a design feature... no shoulder pads but looks as though it did have some at some point. Fully silk lined on the inside and the very bottom pictures is the stitching on the collar (the side that would be folded flat against the back, so I guess it could only be seen if the collar was standing up? any way thought it was neat.

2nd one is plaid cotton very thick but not wide shoulder pads. 2 small usable pockets above each breast. there are 2 curious tags in it but no label.... one is a number on the canvas cardboard type material and it is helf in with aluminum? clips/teeth? the second one says post and then a number and it is actualy sewn in and I think its rayon. Do you think this was issued by an organization whether military like USO or perhaps like boy/girl scouts?

Date check please I think late 40s on both but not sure if 50s?

thank you!!!!!

I love that plaid blouse - I wish I ever found one in such a stylish shape! :drooling22: I'd have thought those little puff sleeves were rather 1930s than 40s.

The red one reminds me of blouses in my old 1947 mail-order catalog (I'm looking through that one a lot at the moment, it seems...).
