oh and i TOTALLY agree! JONATHAN LOGAN!! and the Stewarts clothing shops: my cousin was a "junior fashion advisor" there, and we all just thought she was the luckiest girl in the world!!

nearly all my clothes were home-sewn by mom, too, and she was a beautiful seamstress as well. I absolutely yearned for "store-bought" clothes, though, until I was a bit older and realized how blessed/lucky I was to have such a talented Mom!

i've got a couple more faves on the tip of my tongue...i'll have to pop in tomorrow, if i think of them...
