Old chore skirts and a doll? dress

These aren't in the greatest condition but I found them interesting, nonetheless. The first one has quite a lot of hand patching. May I have some assistance with a date range? And the little dress seems proportioned more appropriately for a doll rather than a child.
Thanks again,
~Donna

I can almost smell these. - that musty smell from long storage. They could be as early as the 1910's or even into the 1930's. The tiny dress is pobably for a tiny little girl. The sun bonnet is a wonderful find. Women in rural areas wore similar ones into the 1940's. You didn't ask about cleaning them, but I have found these old cottons clean up nicely and look much brighter, by soaking first in plain water, and then soaking again with an oxyclean type product. Rinse well, of course.
