hello all,

i have a STUNNING vintage R&K Originals dress that seems to be from the 1950's.

it's gold brocade (i think roses) on black background, fully lined in black, back zipper, a double rope-like self-tie belt sash, and a coordinating sleeveless jacket(?) that buttons up the back.

My questions are:

1. what terms describe the waist sash ?
2. is the coordinating top piece called a sleeveless jacket ?
3. what is the best way to describe this dress ? wiggle, etc.

Not a wiggle dress but a cocktail dress. I call the top part a jacket.Is that a metallic brochade? Very pretty dress.... Love the material

it is a metallic brocade. it's in fabulous condition too

wayyyy too small for me :-((
