One More Shoe Question Please

Just wanted to check. These are slippers right? From the 40's? No labels.

They are slippers (mid 40s), but not the way we think of slippers today. These were likely worn for 'at home' in the evenings but could have been just as easily worn with an evening dress for dancing. They look from the proportions that they might be on the large size, which suggests to me these might have been worn by a tall girl.

Thanks Jonathan. They are pretty long but very narrow. People and their skinny feet back then!
