Oscar de la Renta dress - help dating

Hello All,
Any ideas on this Oscar de la Renta dress? It's got fabric covered buttons, pleating on the bodice and skirt, and inside, there's a fabric covered elastic "belt" that has a flat hook/eye so you can adjust the waist (that's a first for me!). The tag has the registered mark, so am guessing this is a more recent dress (80s?). No content tags, but it feels pretty soft, almost like a silk blend of some sort.

Would appreciate any insight on this

Have you looked down the side seams to see if there are any more labels? Especially, fabric and care.

It looks 80s to me as well or perhaps even very early 90s.
