Oscar de la Renta, velvet and sequins dress, age?

Hello everyone! Please may I have some help pinning down a date on this dress? It has the later ILGWU red/white/blue tag which gives it the wide date range of 1974-1995. The Label Resource doesn't have a de la Renta label quite like this one... notice the closed "t" with the cross going right across the t rather than across the tip of it, and the registration symbol. I'm leaning toward late 80s or early 90s on this, what do you think? (And shall I submit this label for the resource once the dating has been firmed up?)

DAMNIT - I remember seeing an advert for something recently and the model was wearing THIS dress - I just can't remember where…I want to say 1989, but I'm not sure.

Actually I listed a dress recently which does have the same label, I dated mine to the 80s but now you have me wondering it mine might be early 90s.
I really dislike the way this fit my manni, it was really not good for her.

Strangely, I just found this sweater and was going to ask for dating help....thought 80s.....it has the same crossed T....no other labels....i think its acrylic.
