ostrich leather- how to identify it

I have what I think is a ostrich skin handbag, but was wondering if there is anyway to tell if its genuine or imitation? Thanks for your help!

ostrich

If you can get a fingernail underneith the bumps and lift slightly, it's probably real. If you do see a repedative pattern than it's probably leather (cow or lamb). There should also be wrinkles in the skin to be real ostrich. Post a pic

definitely look for a repeating pattern for it to be fake

The bumps look like wrinkly squished moles, but all the same color as the skin

Aren't there any seams, etc. where you can peek at the underside?

Thanks everyone, I'm still not really sure- I can't get my fingernail under the bumps, but there doesn’t seem to be any pattern. There are wrinkles in the skin though. Oh well, lol. Thanks again!
