The Portland Art Museum just concluded an exhibit on the art of the tattoo. Here are some examples. The last one “creeps me out.”

Ugh! And just to add :barf: Sorry, I don't mind those little tattoos (if needs must) and I'm sure these folks are very nice people - but - ewwww!

If you painted ANY of those on black velvet and hung it on the wall people would laugh at your taste in art, but because its permanently etched in your skin its considered art? Marshall McLuhen was right - the medium IS more important than the message?

A guy in my town had a tattoo of a rope that wrapped around his neck, and then went up his arm. When he held his arm straight up, it looked as if he were hanging himself. Really scary.
