My sis, who lives in Vancouver, just sent me this link to a live web cam that is set up by an eagles' nest on Hornby Island,
BC.

Ma and Pa Eagle built the nest and take
turns (they switch about every 2.5 hours)
sitting on the eggs, which are slated to
hatch in about 5 days.

Eagles and owls fascinate me, and
I've just spent about an hour on the forum board of this site looking at
previous video clips of these birds.

Note: if you get a black screen after the web cam loads,
try again. Every so often the pic/audio doesn't seem to show. Or check out the video clips on the forum board, really interesting!

It was so cool. Me and my youngest watched for about 25 minutes and were lucky enough to to watch them switching places.
My youngest is 4 and was screaming and loving it and now wants me to keep it running b/c he has seen the 2 eggs.

That's great Sue! This past week away in Cornwall I've seen quite a few buzzards etc. (which for me is a novelty as I do live in a town, although in a relatively rural county) so am quite into bird watching at the moment!
