owls

Did anyone see this article about a rogue Owl attacking humans? :hysterical:

"the large owl is suspected of a spate of mysterious attacks on citizens over the last year, prompting the city to advise evening strollers to arm themselves with umbrellas for protection against aerial assaults.
“The attacks were getting heavier,” the city said, adding: “Many people were afraid to go out of their homes.”

We had a Live Cam in our area of baby Eaglets and it was fascinating to see the growth as they progressed and finally left the nest vacant. In Virginia, we have a good number of Great Horned Owls and it's wonderful on crisp Autumn evening to go outside and hear the Hooty Hoot of this large bird! Thanks, Claire, for sharing....it's so much fun to have a "Birds-Eye" view of a bit of Nature!
