Hi there! I recently acquired a 1950s cashmere Pat Baldwin cardigan. (Yay!) It's cherry red with a hand stitched velvet placket and matching velvet buttons. It has two hand stitched velvet birds on the front as well as one on the back. It's in incredibly good condition, and fits like a size small. I recently acquired what might be the cutest, softest 1950s cashmere cardigan ever. (Yay!) It's cherry red with a hand stitched velvet placket and matching velvet buttons. I did a little research online, and all I can find is that Pat Baldwin is considered a "master decorator", and that no two sweaters are alike. I understand they're highly collectible, but can't find any for sale so I'm not sure how much these cute little guys go for. Any ideas?
I'm trying desperately to figure out how much a sweater like this is worth. I thought maybe you could point me in the right direction. Thank you so much for your time!
Cheers,
Kara
