Pattern peeps... how do YOU pass the time while you count the pieces?

Whew...

Just went through 80 patterns, counting the pieces :insane:

I also take time to study the patterns while I count so it takes me a while.

I usually listen to music but today I watched a movie.

What do you do while you count all the pieces?

I usually watch TV or movies, too.

I usually count the pieces on the counter at the shop when I have browsing customers who don't need help.

Of course, I have ended up counting the pieces to a pattern 3 or 4 times .... LOL ... but it gives me "busy work" so people don't think I'm WATCHING them. ;)

One thing that helped me today was there were a lot that were uncut, yay!

LOL Diana, when we had our shop I used to do that too.

Sometimes I but that can be counterproductive...

i NEED to count pattern pieces ~ i have 2 boxes ~ but i am so easily distracted that it takes me forever to get them done.

therefore, patterns are uncounted and in the studio on the "needs attention" shelf. :(

The part about counting the pattern pieces that makes me crazy is folding them back up.

I'm so darn neurotic that they have to all be folded right back the way they were.
