I'm mostly posting for info on these designers. I've found very little on either. I do know that Bosc was an influence of Givenchy... and found one mention that he was known as "America's answer to Balenciaga".. although I can't find out much more than that.

1960's. taupe. silk, I think (haven't done burn test...) Very well made.. bra stays & besom buttonholes and just general superior construction...
I'm afraid it doesn't suit my Miss Mina very well... but what can you do? It looks all wrong on all my gals!

Any other info is appreciated... and is this label important enough to be needed for the resource?

I truly wish I knew more about Paul Parnes. I've had several items with the name in them, but not Bosc. I've always really appreciated the Parnes. Here are two items I sold this year, and labels:

Your label has a different look altogether.

it does look different.

Actually.. both of your items look earlier than mine... but your labels look later! haha!
The jacket doesn't show well on Miss Mina, with her stance, but the jacket has a very boxy cut with A-line seaming so I'm pretty sure it's 60's.

Yours are both cuter.... but I suspect much of that is due to the model ;)

Wanna come model over here? It's sunny and warm!
:kiss2:

Isn't Paul Parnes one of those "sounds like somebody else" so one thinks they know type of mystery designers?? (like Parnes Feinstein and Jerry Parnis). With all the labels floating around one would think SOMETHING bigger would have come up around here at some point :(

I know what you mean Chris...Still, the Parnes I've had (there have been a handful of others), were great. May have just been a label, but it seems to be a good label. I'd love to know more.

And Kristine, expect me by dinnertime tonight!!:D I NEED SUN!

Maggie--
we're having lasagna.

Casual attire, of course. :bouncing:
