I have these beautiful 14k white gold pearl drop earrings that I'm trying to figure out if they're Akoya pearls, what the clear stones could be and what the mystery stamp on the back of one earring could mean.

The stamp is simply '39 - 41'. I thought perhaps it's

the years of production but then I found a very similar style that are described as being 1950s earrings.

The clear stones are not diamonds (had them tested) but I was told by a woman that a jeweller told her white topaz was commonly used in fine vintage jewelry.

Any thoughts on the clear stones, type of pearl and mystery stamp?

Hello. Identifying the pearls with certainty is impossible long-distance, but they are most likely cultured akoya pearls as they are by far the most widely used and nothing visible about yours would preclude that. The clear stones could be any of a number of gemstones commonly used in place of diamonds, including topaz, rock crystal, spinel, sapphire...

Can you post a close-up of the backs and marks? With variations, this style of jewelry has been around since at least Georgian times, and was particularly popular during the Edwardian Period when it was called "Garland Style." A Google search will bring up lots of examples.
