Peltz Lamb and Fox Fur Coat

Hi all! I took this to my tailor to have some seems repaired. She said it was special. Thought it might be, but wanted some expert opinions. Can anyone tell me more about it and perhaps the decade? Thanks!

Do you have a close up of the fur? I suspect it's Persian lamb - or Astrakhan as we call it here.

Yep - that looks like it. Well done! Beautiful fur, and quite sought after. I date as '50s. Check out Persian lamb coats on ebay and you'll get an idea.
