Pencil/Wiggle Dress..Unique Skirt?

So I found this number - it's pretty small but.
What era is it from? I've never really seen the button & zippered back before? and what kind of skirt is that called? It's somewhat tiered? Any information on this would be great.

Cute! Looks very high-style 80's.

Not sure if it's a wiggle? For a true wiggle, the hem circumference needs to be smaller than the.... hip measurement, I think? Also, a wiggle generally doesn't have a kick-pleat.

i wouldn't call it a "wiggle" dress either as the term hints more at an earlier era imho anyway

So it's an 80's Pencil dress with a kick pleat! Ah, that helps so much. I can't find anything like it..and it's too small for me :( but i know these kinds of dresses are pretty hot right now so i hope it does well! Thanks ^_^
p.s.

Can you find anything about the brand? I couldn't. Most of the stuff i get ends up being canadian so i find that it's a lot harder to find a trace of the brand.

Yes, it looks quite 80s--I have one similar with buttons & zipper in the back (red, too!), and the tiered skirt. Very cute!

I put wiggle in the title to maybe entice some people who, like me are uncertian in the difference in pencil/wiggle.. I tried it on, too small- but i couldn't move! Ha, I guess that's the point?
