Penneys Hawaiian Shirt pattern help

I picked up this really beautiful Penny's Hawaii Shirt. I am wondering if anybody knows what this fabric pattern and shirt style would be considered? Maybe Asian or Indian inspired? Maybe Hippie? Thanks

You do actually have some paisley on there, so perhaps a Paisley indian border print? (I would definetly go with the Indian/hippie look rather than Hawaiian!)
It would look good with some flares and round sunglasses

Your shirt looks Indian inspired, to me, too - and very early '70's! I remember the former Penney's at Ala Moana Center. It closed ages ago!
