I'm about to list a Pierre Cardin space age dress and have noticed a feature that appears in many of his designs in the late 1960s and early 1970s, a long line and then a circle? I've attached pictures of some of the kind of pieces to give a better idea of what I mean. Does anyone know anything about this and what it's called? Or at least can you think of a description for it that is better than 'Cardin's signature circle'
