Pink collared dress late 50s or 60s?

Into the void

hey I picked up this cutie at the local goodwill. It is a pink dress with a grided textile design and is accented with a black pointed collar and black sleeve cuffs. It doesn’t have its sash anymore but the waist is elastic and the skirt is full like a circle skirt. Any one have any idea when it could be from? The lot number tag looks like a lot of tags in 60s garments I’ve picked up over time but the cut and style says 50s to me.

hmmm. it's cute, but that elastic waist and the pink/black contrast give a very late 70s early 80s vibe, to me.
That’s funny cuz the more I’m looking at it I’m starting to see early 80s, the color too is that dusty pink and purple which I see a lot of in the late 70s early 80s era. The construction and the look of the lot and size label threw me off I think!

Based on the care label and the fabric (from what I can see without handling it), it looks newer to me--more like late 70s or early 80s. Let's see if anyone else has an opinion. :)
Oops--cross-posted!
Yes I think you are right! Also the tag says size 14 and I do believe it is closer to a modern 14 than what a 50s/60s size 14 would normally be.

One dead giveaway is the RN#. The first one ever, #13670, was issued in 1959. Thus, anything with an RN# can't be any older than 1959 as the labels did not yet exist. That said, it can be any year younger, provided the label is still in production. This dress looks late 70s/early 80s to me, as my colleagues seem to agree.
