I recently acquired this sweet pale pink Van Raalte "Sheerio" nightgown with a crystal pleated collar and hem. Its styling looks kind of late 40s to me, with the scalloped mid-section seaming and the shape of the collar, but somehow I feel this is a bit later, so I'm guessing it's early or mid 50s? There is no RN number and I know Van Raalte started using Sheerio in the late 40s. But nightgowns are still new to me and I'm finding the dating quite tricky!
