Hi,

Nicole is right, we need to see the interior and the label if it has one.

The style is early to mid 1930's, with the shallow crown and turned up brim, but this style was successfully revived in the early 1990s.

The trim in front does look more of a vintage than modern touch.

Hi,

Hmmmmm. Can't seem to nail this one 100%. It is made of a fine quality sisal straw or buntal straw, which is/was used in better, higher priced hats. Although the style is more 1930's, the Sylvia label looks post WWII. The style is so very classic, it had a few revivals over the years. For now I am going with very late 1940s to mid 1950s.

I'm going to go with very late '40s to mid '50s too. I really like that style, upturned brims are great.
