Please Help Identify This Exotic Spotted & Striped Vintage Coat

Hi, I am new to this forum and have learned so much in just the short time I have discovered it. I love vintage furs and have been fairly successful identifying various types on my own through research here and online, but this one really stumped me. I hate when that happens. :duh2: I would really appreciate any help you can give me to identify the type of fur this is. It has a Saks Fifth Avenue tag inside. It is not soft like Bobcat Lynx, a bit more coarse than that. I think I have run out of exotic fur names to look for and I don't think it looks like anything I have come across in my online searches. Is it possibly some sort of Bobcat or in the Lynx family? Thank you for this valuable resource, I look forward to learning much more in this group.

Hi there, It's geoffroy's cat.
Hi Caryn, Thanks so much much for identifying this for me. It was actually one of the first ones I thought of but the way the thin multiple parallel stripes are on it made me think it might not be Geoffroy’s Cat.

Yep, those stripes are right in the center of the head and travel down a bit of the cat's back.

Ah, yes, I see it now! I was concentrating on side views and the back. By the way, do you have any idea on what era this particular styling is from? Thank you again.

Yes I do but before I say so for certain I'd like to see a view of the lining and the label. Could you show me those photos please?

Hi Caryn, I am just following up with you to make sure the photos I attached are adequate for you to make a determination on the age of the fur we've been discussing. Thank you again for all of your help.

I'm so sorry for the delay. Thank you for those additional photos. Your coat dates to the 70s.
