Hi, I've these patent f wedge shoes. A style I know was repeated, I'm thinking 70s to 80 s based on the label, but perhaps an expert can help me be a but more sure. Many thanks to all. Vicki

Wow, they are very cool! I do know Ferragamo designed similar wedge shoes from the 1940's. He died in the 60s and various renditions have been made since in his company (which, I believe is still largely owned by his family). Patent leather was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. However Patent leather generally does not stand the test of time very well and often becomes sticky if kept in the wrong environment (something to do with humidity I believe). Is their writing to the inside of the shoe? If so please take a picture. Also if they came with a box please photograph that. Oh and a photo of the whole sole of the shoes please? Imo, not before the 1950s but could be later, or much later.

They could be much later (even fairly recent), best to let some of the experts chime in. This forum does not help with valuations but I’m sure someone will better know the dating.
There should be some numbers and letters on the inside of the shoe along the side.

They are a more modern style, not a reissue - although the wedge is reminiscent of his 1946 wedge collection, they weren't that high and the toes weren't pointed. I don't think they are older than the 90s or VERY late 1980s at best. However, its not a style I have seen from him before, but I'm sure they aren't older ones made during his lifetime and they aren't a reissue.
