Please help me date this adorable skunk fabric -- 50s?

This is a lightweight cotton textured fabric -- I would've called it seersucker, but I'm not sure if seersucker has to be striped. If so is it called crepe, or something else? It has this sweet pattern of skunks courting, which led me to think it's 50s, but I'm not sure, and would be grateful for opinions. It's 36" wide with narrow selvedges.

Yep, looks like a cotton seersucker to me Jen S. The stripes are there too: you can see them the clearest on the second photo. Seersucker is a kind of plisse. Here's the seersucker entry in the fabric resource.

Thank you, that's so helpful! Yes, it is the cutest stuff and there are almost 5 yards! I've never found such a big piece before. I did wonder if possibly it could be earlier than 50s but then I thought I was "wish" dating.

It's plisse' which is a bit different from seersucker:
