Please help me date this dress...

Please help me date this dress! My initial thought was seventies, but I am just not sure about this one.

It is made of a thick fabric with just a little stretch, no labels, seems hand-made. The dress has a long front zipper.

i had that same EXACT fabric in red, i made a mini dress tho.

wonder where that ended up...

70s. I'd hazard a guess that the dress was shorter and the band at the hem was added. Is there evidence of a fold in the print fabric where an original hem might have been?

Jody: your guess was spot on: I checked, and the original hem is still there. I think I will remove the band, I don't think it does the dress any favours.

ah, and the zipper is nylon, the brand is Opti.
