Good morning. I purchased this purse a few months ago and totally forgot about it. The quality feels quite nice and I’m assuming it’s old unsure if it’s real it would need a lot of work if it is, would anyone have a timeframe as to how old it is or if it even is a Chanel.

good morning! and what a great, classic purse! as per our forum rules, we do not authenticate vintage items here: we suggest you take them to (for example, Chanel) to find out if they are, or not, what they appear to be. However, having said that, this style of purse was WIDELY copied as it was so popular. In my opinion, the way the edges are finished and the way it is wearing suggest that this is a copy rather than a true Chanel.
