Hello, I have two such cotton dresses. I'm wondering from which years they originate. I think they are from the 80s or early 90s, but I also once had a dress from the 50s with a similar collar to the first one. However, the zipper suggests that it is younger. What do you think?

I feel like these are both most likely homemade. With that being said using an older pattern with more modern hardware or fabric was quite a normal thing. The blue floral does give me an early 60's vibe (probably made later based on the zipper, or the zipper could have been replaced), the peach floral a solid 80's vibe. They are VERY cute!

Thank you for the tips, I'm glad they exactly match what I think about the dresses! :) I immediately thought that the zipper might have been replaced, especially since it is located on the side. Even if it wasn't, the fabric is certainly very old. Thank you!
