Good Evening !
I was at my local Goodwill and stumbled across some possible Vintage Gucci pants ! I'm of course literally have zero clue. I saw them for 6$ left them and went back bc my gut said too . Im hoping they are authentic ( any advise as to where I can get them authenticated would be great or if necessary) . Any help dating , etc would be amazing . I found on Vestiaire website a pair with the same numbers on the garment tag and they were posted for over 2200$ . I'm going to upload my find !

We can't authenticate anything here, but if you google "zamasport for Gucci" you will find plenty of items and prices and also this information -

Gucci announced that it has acquired the division that is responsible for producing its women's ready-to-wear line, buying it from Italian manufacturer Zamasport Group.

Really the only prices to look at for genuine guidance is the prices of sold pieces, not what sellers are hoping to get. I see one pair of zamasport for Gucci jeans sold on eBay for @$150.

Zamasport was the licensed manufacturer for Gucci between 1993. and 2000.

Then in 2000, according to WWD, Gucci announced the acquisition of a women’s wear factory from Italy’s Zamasport Group, purchasing the division of Zamasport that had produced and distributed Gucci’s women’s RTW collection under license.

I was able to get them authenticated . I used 2 different site , both state they are Authentic . I'm just waiting for the rest of the results , Age , Style , resell value .

You see the date for your item is right on your tag? Good that you went back to get them.

The 1973 date? That's not the date of the trousers. It's the date of some Italian legislation that is often quoted on Italian made clothing labels. Just means can't be earlier than that, but could be decades later.

I got back some information from the place that did the Authentication. They didn't give me an exact time frame . They dated them 1993-2000.
now , the question of the day is..
Where do I go from here? They are being professionally cleaned . I definitely will NOT fit in a size a IT 42 US 6..
I absolutely would love to sell them to someone who would be able to wear and appreciate them!
