Please take a look at this fabric

I bought 10 yards of this fabric at an estate sale. The woman was Japanese, and went to Japan frequently. It is 36 inches wide with a 2.5 inch border. I put a contrasting color underneath the embroidered flowers so that you can see the cut-out design. Is it vintage? Any ideas on the fabric content? Thanks in advance.

Lovely. Does this have the original selvages on both sides, and are both sides the same? Wondering is this has been cut, neatly at each side, or if the edges of the border are bound.

It could be vintage, mid century to late century, but to me it does not look to be very old. Machine made. As for the fiber content it is hard to say from the photos, but most of these mid century lace-like fabrics were cotton based, often mixed with rayon or sometimes a synthetic.

The borders edges are all finished like selvage and the same on both sides. The ends of the 10 yd are cut on both ends.
