Pocketwatch Bag

I found this fabulous vintage pocketwatch bag at a yard sale. No tags. I know Lederer made bags similar to this in the 60s but there is no tag or marking any n the bag. Do you think this is also a Lederer or did other companies make similar bags? Ideas? Thank you.

Hey! Sorry I missed this. A lot of companies made these novelty bags with watches in the 1950s-1960s. Some were pocket watches and others had a watch face with partial wristwatch-style strap attached to the bag. We have several, including that Triangle bag, plus an unmarked one and a Holzman evening bag with rhinestone-embellished watch attached to it. We also have a child's vinyl purse with a fake watch face, an Evans carryall with a watch face in the strap, and a leather billfold with a built-in watch. Higher end makers like (as you mentioned) Lederer, Milch and Rosenfeld made watch bags, too. Here's a 1958 newspaper ad, but I've seen them as late as 1967.
