Pop beads!

I am so used to seeing perfectly round pop beads....and they are always 1950s. I have never seen this color combo. They have a little bit of a sheen to them. And the sheen is some sort of overcoating because they feel like a smooth molded plastic but one bead has a little bit of that coating missing in a small spot near the "pop".


So look at exhibit #2....
(they are not QUITE as shiney as the scanner made them..they are more a soft pearlized sheen than harsh metallic)

I don't think I've seen them that shape before either! The DuBarry tag I can see - is that fairly common as I recognise it?

Very unusual and pop beads were quite popular in the 60s, too.

I have never seen that shade or shape pop beads before either. I sold some last year on ebay, but they were the round coloured 60s ones.
