Long time no see. What's everyone up to? What's goin' on? How is everyone? What's on your Christmas list?

:hiya:

Deb

:hiya: Hi, Deb. So good to see you posting.:bouncing::clapping:

How are things at Babylon Mall? I think you are having an accessories sale, right?

Nothing special on my Christmas list except to be with family and have good food!

Glad to see you back and Merry Christmas!:snowman:

WOW!!! Hey Deb!!!

It is wonderful to see you posting! We've all missed you!

I'm taking a break from listing vintage at the moment, and working on a couple of sculpts for gifts. Will get back to listing both clothing and
faeries in the New Year. Nicole is coming home for a short visit next week
(will be going home on the 27th) and we still don't have our tree up!

Christmas list? - got it! Nicole is coming home!

What about you? Are you still riding?

And, is Ottawa snowed in today? We got major snow yesterday and
overnight, but the sun is shining now.

Sue

Hi guys,

Yes, Babylon Mall is having a vintage accessories sale for the whole month of December. I'm also working on the Newsletter which will go out on Monday.

We are having major snow today Sue. At least 25 cm (10"). The drive in this morning was really slow, except for the guy behind me, tailgating and flashing his highbeams. People never learn. The roads were not plowed or salted and even though I have snow tires, there was not a lot of traction.

You getting the storm too?

I am still riding. I am doing a 3-day musical ride clinic over the holidays. I'm riding a horse called Chelsea who is about 17hh. I'm taking 2 whole weeks off, although you know me - I'll be working on stuff at home probably.

Deb

Hiya Deb! Nice to see you.

What's a musical ride clinic? Do you switch horses when the music stops LOL or is it the dressage category in time to the music?

You might want to check out the workshop forum and read up on Laura's pattern workshop, it was great!

As for me, I have been partially MIA for the last week finishing up my real estate class. My last day was today so i look forward to be getting back in the swing

Chris

:hiya: Well, hello!

I've already got my present, a new digital camera! Now I've got to reread the photography workshop!

Is it cold up there?

Lizzie

Hi Deb!!!

Boy.. listening to you talk, I'm SO glad we don't get snow out here!! People here can barely handle a little light rain!!

The only thing on MY Christmas list is a little R&R!! I just opened a space in one antique mall... I have another opening in ANOTHER mall Jan 1st... AND I'm starting an Estate Sale business. Eek!

Glad to hear that you're doing well :-)

Hey there... nice to see you again. I haven't thought about my Christmas list yet... hmmmm... thanks for reminding me. I'd best put my thinking cap on.

Hi everyone,

Chris - my riding instructor Kris did a real estate course. She couldn't teach us one night because she sold 2 houses all at once. Do you know the RCMP Musical Ride? The photos here: http://www.rcmp.ca/musicalride/photos_e.htm show some of the patterns they do. One of my previous instructors used to train horses and riders for the RCMP and was in the musical ride.

Anne - we have really high mounting blocks - they have 3 steps and are normally too high for a regular horse but just right for Chelsea.

Lizzie - it was godawfully cold here most of the week, down around -20C, but on Friday it warmed up to almost melting. What a relief - my sinuses were so bad when it was that cold & dry, then on Friday I had no headache. No headache today either. (I'm just getting over a bad cold).

Kristine - wow - you sound very busy!

Carol - I wish I had not waited so long! You should see the traffic at the malls. I'm waiting until later tonight and going shopping around 8pm.

Oh well, I think it's dinner time!

Deb

Hi Deb! :hiya:

Nice to see you around! you are SO LUCKY to be doing the musical ride clinic!! ACK!! on a 17hh horse too!!! The last horse I rode, Skip, was 17.3 and at 5'9" had to really lift my leg to get on, can't imagine doing it with my back now. :D

Lei

well, better late than never, i suppose, but...

Very Nice to "see" you, Deb.

Merry Christmas everyone! We were just out shopping for food, and stocking stuffers at the big grocery store (it's kind of like WalMart where they have everything). We got there, and announcements were blasting on the PA so often, we forgot half the stuff we went out for. I think the grocery store sucks your IQ.

Lei - don't tell me you go on a 17.3hh horse from the ground? (!) I was in a lesson with 2 ponies about 14.2. What a pain! I kept catching up to them.
