Positively Ellyn 80s Dress Help with Description

Cocktail dress?
Long puff exaggerated sleeves?
Velvet wrap skirt?

It is all one piece, the blouse wraps then snaps at the waist under the belt, the skirt overlaps but is open from that snap at the waist down.

The shirt... uhhh... well yeah, I get stuck right there!

Red White & Blue Union Label, I'm pretty sure it has to be 80s, but added label pics for your convenience.

Really I just need help describing the dress. I am at a loss and it has been hours, but as always, any help is appreciated.

I would call something like this a faux-two piece dress, or blouse & skirt style dress? I would mention that the sleeves are sheer.
 
Elysian... hahah perfect! I'm so using that!

But the sleeves, they have that extra netting inside to make them HUGE. Is there a term for that?

I took a little trip to Seattle when I was a freshman in high school in 1989 and we tried on dresses like this in the fancy section or Nordstroms. It was fun for us because we were playing dress-up, although the sales associates probably didn't think it was very fun. But we were 15, so of course we didn't pick up on that :USING:.

Cocktail dress, yes.
