Possible Vintage Burberrys Sheepskin Skirt

Hello everyone! I am new to this site, but I need help seeing if this skirt I was given is real, and if it is, more about it. I reached out to Burberry itself and they cant help, and I am lost of how to find more out about it! I hope you all can help! So I believe it's a vintage Burberrys sheepskin skirt size 10, but there is no tag stating it's Burberrys, just the hanging ribbon. I'll attach photos to show. If any of you know anything about this, I would appreciate the help! Thank you!

Nice skirt. It’s giving me a 1980s vibe. Because there’s an S on Burberrys, it must be older than 2000.

Is there a reason you think it’s sheep, rather than cow leather?
