possibly 100+ year old fur coat identification

Hiya,
my mother just gave me a coat that has been passed down since probably the 1920s. It was my great aunt's originally.

Here is the label for my wondering about age, and I also wanted to know the type of animal the coat is made from if possible (if not ill find the right thread).

Thank you!

p.s. if you are looking to identify the type of fur, I can tell you that the longest pieces are around 3.5ft, and yet the fur seems very fancy (like what I'd think a mink would be like) so I'm a bit stumped.

Can we see the whole coat, please, so we can see the style and shaping?
The "MR" would have been the owner's initials.

M Worth (Maison Worth)
50 Grosvenor St W1

Fabulous!

EDIT: Worth is a highly respected maker. You will likely get a lot more looks at your inquiry if you use the word Worth in your title. To edit your title click on your thread and look to the upper right above your inquiry. You will see "Thread Tools" and a little down-arrow. Hover over this and you will see the option to Edit Title. Click on it and proceed. :)

According to our label resource the Worth name was bought by Sydney Massin, who founded Worth London Ltd. It was open on Grosvenor Street until 1967.
So this label has to be post the 1953 merger with Paquin and prior to 1967

Worth was at 50 Grosvenor Street long before 1953.
This is a Worth brochure from 1937 showing the Grosvenor Street address:

Kerry Taylor auctioned THIS lovely 1938 silk jersey evening gown with a similar logo as the OP's:

Yes, it looks early 1960s to me, possible late 1950s but I am leaning to 1960s. Since the Worth name is not on a label, but has been embroidered directly onto the lining, if it were me I might want to dig a little deeper into its authenticity. But that is your choice. Perhaps there are other Worth coats with this embroidery directly on the lining. I just have not seen one, maybe others here can find one for you.

I'm with Barbara on this one
