Possibly Turkish?

Hello fellow vintagers,

Came across these Aladdin type shoes.
They both are same exact shape. No left and right.

Can anyone help pinpointing an era and/or country these come from?
I'm feeling Turkey but I'm no expert in the matter.

These are from northern India and are called khussa, although similar shoes are worn in Eastern Pakistan. Dating is difficult because they are a traditional style, however, these look like lame thread embroidery so 1930s-50s. By the 60s-70s lurex thread is used instead and they don't tarnish like your pair.
