Made for Andrade, nylon zipper. I've had 60s Andrade's before, this tag looks a bit newer.

My first thought was 80s, because of 50s style full skirt dresses were so popular in the 80s, but the skirt is not quite as full as most of those. And the print has somewhat faded silkscreen metallic accents - I associate that with late 60s into 70s.

So now I'm leaning towards 70s. Although the font used for the "Sun Fashions" tag looks newer. Help? (It is a gorgeous print, isn't it?)

It's a lovely print and colour Maggie. Great for spring. I don't know the label so not much help there but I did instinctively think 80's.

70s it is. Thank you ladies! I'll take a cleaner photo of the Andrade tag for the label resource, our last one there is 60s.

Hi Maggie,

I had a swimsuit with that same label. I thought it was 70s for sure. (You could find it easily if you want to see it. It doesn't have the Andrade label, though, just the Sun Fashions label.)

yep, cute 70s dress, Maggie. Andrade was such a great shop: they used to be in Ala Moana Shopping Center, but they went out of business in the early 80s i believe; however their Waikiki shop continued after that. not sure @ their manufacturing division so much. but the dress looks 70s to me, too, that print, and the shirring.

I want to add, too, that these types of sun dresses are great if you are not very full busted and want to look stacked! They're great figure enhancers and I always love a skirt that's full but not pleaty or gathered at the waist seam. I would love to have this for summer, actually.
