I really thought a lot of the dresses were very nice this episode--which is rare.

I even liked the "egg sling" with the feathers. I wish he made the chicken thigh junipers! I liked it.
I would like to see other items from him. His outfit was more exciting than the racing stripe bowling bag of Ra'Mones. Yikes that thing was crazy! The swirls on the side of the stomach?!?!
 
I thought the winner really was deserving. How did she make both pieces in a little over 2 days?

If the guy from Savannah is as big a slacker as he comes off, did he should be the next one auf!
 
i also loved the winning design. the waistline was lovely and inventive, and the coat very chic. it is remarkable she could design and finish those two pieces. they looked beautifully made, too.

also loved the elegant black evening gown.

i liked the egg dress when they showed it on the dress form. i thought he was going to do the whole dress in that fabric, but when i saw it with the black underneath, eh. no.

i think he was talented though. just didn't pay attention to what the challenge was about. she said she wanted 'a beautiful silhouette' and that egg dress sure didn't give one!
 
The white dress from the fellow with the dreadlocks...wow...it looked like she was hauling a white trash bag around her waist. I was shocked he wasn't in the final lineup.
Louise's dress was lovely, and she would have gotten twice the kudos if she'd just said it was for a little at home trist with the baby daddy.

I really wish they could have done a full body preg suit for the models. The giant bellies without the boobie fairy visit was a bit off proportion.
 
I liked Althea's black dress, but that bust line was way too low for a pregnant gal. Of course we would all love to see Louise win, but I think her design had a distinct Victoria's Secret vibe to it. Nicolas did a cute LBD. I actually liked Qristyl's dress - (yup, she really spells her name that way.) And Ramon's "bowling ball dress" was a mess.

I sit here in my jeans and t-shirt - the great design critic. :lol:
