I had thought 80s too, but it just seems older, somehow - the fabric, the pin, the label. But I agree, the shape does look 80s. Just thought I'd ask in case I was wrong. Don't want to describe it incorrectly.

the broach does seem much older though. I am not one on vintage jewelry. big "indicators" but not deffinated are zippers (metal vs plastic), zipper placement, and care lables. the label looks 80s to me and I bet that is a plastic zipeer?

I love that it is from Raleigh NC, thats near where I grew up!
