Punk Givenchy - timeline please?

As per the label resource, Givenchy Nouvelle Boutique is their ready to wear line (I can't wait to find a high end - the quality is superb). Studded, heavy wool a-line shift dress (almost 3lbs). Date estimation, anyone? Late 70s???

it looks like a mini shift dress to me so mid - 1960's we're talking??!!

!!!! Really?! I just assumed that studded stuff was later and punkish. The label resource states the label started in 68... hmmmmm...

Great dress. Since I am so OLD...I can remember the clothes very well from the 60's. Studding was very popular in the late 60's and early 70's. So, I would think, that along with it being a mini, it's most likely 68-72.
