I found a vintage women's suit jacket at Goodwill yesterday that appears to possibly be from the 1940's or 1950's, but I can't find any information on the brand that's shown on the label: Tailored by Delson - Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.
The jacket is in excellent condition, with armpit stains only on the inside lining, which feels like it might possibly be silk by the feel of it. I don't have a picture as of yet to share of the jacket or label.
There is also a National Coat and Suit Industry Recovery Board label inside the blazer as well, with the number 234073. On the flip side of this label it has Consumer Protection Lab MDA Manufacture Under Fair labor Standards. Upon researching this label, I found out that these labels were used between the years of 1938-1964. So that does help me to know that this jacket is indeed vintage.
I was hoping there would be someone on here who may know something about the Tailored by Delson brand, since I haven't been able to find anything on it doing my own Google search.
Thank you in advance for any information.
P.S. I am running back to Goodwill on my lunch break today to look through the skirts in the hopes they have the skirt that would've originally gone with the jacket. (I'm assuming it would've been a skirt rather than pants).
