Did THE Betty Page ever do a clothing line?? I found this sexy 40s number yesterday with "A Betty Page Original " label and was wondering

Lovely dress :) but I doubt if there is any connection as when this dress would have been made, she was married and travelled alot. After she got divorced in 1947, she worked as a secretary to support herself until she found work as an actress. She wouldn't have been famous enough to warrent a line of dresses being named after until later on in the 50's.

The dress looks to me to predate her fame. I suspect this is one of those St. Louis fictitious women's name brands like Dorothy Dodd and a slew of others...

cool. i am no longer tempted: that's way too small (for me)~

BUT it should sell quick as can be for you!!!!!!!!!!!! :drinkingtoast:

 so funny! That is a great dress, naming the label will get you hits too, even if it isn't her line - another point of Betty Page interest, she was a very shy and quiet Christian girl irl, and this sexy bombshell in pics - when asked why she did it she said, it was fun :) Freakin' LOVE that!! She died alone in her house at about 80 something years old (ish) - she was very modest and humble right up to her last interview - anyways, sweet dress :)
