Question regarding pricing item

Hi, I purchased a vintage Lilli Ann coat, I looked and the label is from the 40s which fits the style. I tried to find coats like it online and there were a few coats, not as many as I expected and none the same. I was wondering is it ok to ask for advice pricing an item? The label is - an original from Lilli Ann of san Francisco, on the inside lapel is a label - designed exclusively for Jacueline's Portland Oregon.

Thank you.

I forgot to add a picture of the label in case anyone answers :)

I was very excited to find it, I haven't had it cleaned yet, I immediately called my daughter to see if it would fit her. I read the rules so I guess it is wrong to ask advice on here like I asked. Sorry.

I will probably end up listing it as she informed me "I don't like pink" I think of it as a rose color though. I'm still not doing anything with it until she sees it in person, because the collar is so cool and I don't think I will come across another one like it. Right now its on my living room chair so I can glance at it once in awhile. I also love the arms of the 40s era.

I adore 1940's/50's fitted coats. That is a stunner.
Personally, if you decide to sell it, I would see if there is an auction house that sells vintage fashion in your area that give you a valuation on it. Many will do so for free, though not all. There is also ebay solds of course for the international market.

Oh thank you for the advice, I live in a small area so no auction houses, I will try the ebay sold, I didn't realize I could find out how much things sold for on there. :)
