questions about these shoes

I just purchased these shoes for $20.00. I am a huge fan of vintage clothing and accessories so I am constantly finding great stuff to add to my collection. However I have never really researched anything on vintange clothing and accessories but know that I own so many pieces and found this great web site I am curious as to more about what I am buying and if I am actually paying to much for what my items are actually worth. I would also love to know the history, such as the label, date, etc of what I own as well.

So here is the first of many items I own and treasure and questions I have about them.

Can anyone please tell me what brand this shoe is, what date they are from and did I pay too much for them? Thanks
 
It took me a while to figure that one out too:

with the seventh button from the left (in formatting mode, in post reply) you can add the URL from the pictures you want to show. I think you'll need to use a host like Photobucket.
